CHANDANA joined Telcotech in February 2023 as the Chief Operations Officer. He is a professional with over 20 years of C-level management experience in banking and insurance.
He has been a strategic leader with an entrepreneurial mindset, quite passionate about improving the enterprise’s customer experience and overall operational excellence.
Previously, he has headed the IT functions of renowned banks such as Banque Indosuez and Pan Asia Bank and the Insurance companies such as Union Assurance, AVIVA-NDB, and AIA Insurance. Chandana was a pioneer member of the leadership team of AIA Insurance, where he was instrumental in starting the Insurance Operations in Cambodia as the Chief Technology & Operations Officer (CTOO).
He holds a Master’s Degree in Information Technology (MSc-IT) from Keele University, UK, and Banking Diploma (AIB-SL) from the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka. Further, his qualification is in Information Security Management (CISM) from ISACA, USA, and the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI, USA.
